btw someone mentioned Kaze to Ki no Uta as the origin of the trope and while it’s important to mention i wanted to keep the focus on non-shounen ai manga/anime bc i think it’s really funny how authors will be like “i will only allow gays in my story if one of them is dark haired and the other light haired”
(don’t take this too seriously either it’s just for fun lol i don’t have enough braincells to make a better analysis)
